At DenLAB, formerly known as DenwoodByHORN, we have been pioneering sustainability and social responsibility long before these concepts became mainstream. Our journey started in May 2016, driven by a vision to transform waste and residual materials from the production at HORN Bordplader A/S into valuable resources. Founded by Ove Fog Jørgensen and Karl Frank Venø Nielsen, from day one we focused on making a difference – not only for the environment, but also for people on the edge of the education and labour market.

At the heart of our business is upcycling, turning wood waste into unique and functional products. From acoustic solutions to drop shipping in Europe and customised inventory solutions, our capabilities and offerings have expanded significantly over the years. Our dedication to innovation and social responsibility culminated when we, in collaboration with HORN Worktops, were awarded the Cabis People Price in 2023.

In 2024, our story took a new turn when we were acquired by Acupanels Aps Holding and renamed DenLAB. Although our name has changed, our core values remain the same. We remain deeply committed to providing customised wood and furniture solutions and believe in thinking differently to best meet our customers’ needs.
