One of DenLAB’s latest innovative solutions has transformed the traditional Sonos speaker into a work of nature. Our innovative design process begins with upgraded wood rescued from the waste stream and transforms it into small elegant slats. These slats, cut into small rods, form the slat design itself. Without compromising on sound quality, the slats create a new aesthetic expression – far from the original black and white design, but still true to Nordic minimalism and the softness of the wood character. 

Our modern and innovative machines ensure that every detail – from the shape of the slats to the possibility of personalized prints – exceeds expectations.

Efficient inventory solutions for the German construction market

In collaboration with Fog & Venø, we provide practical inventory solutions for DIY stores. Our team focuses on delivering quality quickly and correctly, reflecting our strong collaborative spirit and efficiency.

Built from black MDF, the solutions are carefully carved using CNC technology and assembled with dowels to ensure durability. Our laser printer allows customization directly on the modules, providing both function and form.

Designed to last and reusable, these robust devices are now on their way to our German DIY customers who value simplicity and reliability.

About DenLAB

At DenLAB, formerly known as DenwoodByHORN, we have been pioneering sustainability and social responsibility long before these concepts became mainstream. Our journey started in May 2016, driven by a vision to transform waste and residual materials from production at HORN Bordplader A/S into valuable resources. Founded by Ove Fog Jørgensen and Karl Frank Venø Nielsen, from day one we focused on making a difference – not only for the environment, but also for people on the edge of the education and labor market.

At the heart of our business is upcycling, turning wood waste into unique and functional products. From acoustic solutions to drop shipping in Europe and customized inventory solutions, our capabilities and offerings have expanded significantly over the years. Our dedication to innovation and social responsibility culminated when we, in collaboration with HORN Worktops, were awarded the Cabis People Price in 2023.

In 2024, our story took a new turn when we were acquired by Acupanels Aps Holding and renamed DenLAB. Although our name has changed, our core values remain the same. We remain deeply committed to providing custom-designed wood and fixture solutions and believe in thinking differently to best meet our customers’ needs.
